Commenting on the achievement, Justin Beckett, Managing Director at Belton Cheese said, “This is another great result for Belton Cheese and to win these prestigious awards with our Cheshire Cheese is wonderful. We take a real pride in our all our cheese which have been handmade on Belton Farm, using local milk, since the early 1800s.”

Cheshire Cheese has a long history and is Britain’s oldest cheese, it even has a mention in the Domesday Book. The cheese is extremely versatile and is a delicious healthy alternative to Feta as it has a third less salt and is fabulous crumbled over a salad, or as a snack with fruit.
